About the Role

Media Consultant - San Antonio Radio Cox Media Group is a leading media company that provides local and national journalism, entertainment content, and advertising solutions across television, radio, and digital platforms. The role involves prospecting new business, building cross-platform advertising solutions, executing marketing campaigns, and establishing strong community relationships. Media Consultants report to the General Sales Manager and collaborate with sales support teams to leverage data and optimize campaigns in real time, supporting mutual success for sales staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and connect to maintain a full pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Lead with insights and engage prospects in business conversations.
  • Uncover desired business results for each prospect and client.
  • Present best solutions based on desired business results.
  • Discuss expectations and measurements to ensure ROI.
  • Create proposals for sales leaders and clients.
  • Consult clients on CMG solutions, offerings, and demonstrate understanding of product capabilities, measurement, attribution, and KPIs.
  • Learn and sell fully integrated advertising solutions utilizing audio and digital products.
  • Meet and exceed all sales goals outlined by the ISM.
  • Increase revenue through new business development and upselling current clients.
  • Manage time effectively and handle complex work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain high self-motivation and attention to detail.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years sales experience required.
  • Experience in prospecting, creating, and developing business required.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals required.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Experience in digital/media sales preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
