About the Role

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join Iteris in one of our most dominant markets in North America. We're looking for a Mid-Market Account Executive who thrives on building strong customer relationships and leveraging exceptional communication and trust-building skills to deliver impactful results. As a Mid-Market Account Executive, you'll be responsible for driving growth across a portfolio of public agencies and commercial accounts. You'll represent Iteris' full suite of hardware, software, and cloud-based traffic analytics solutions to help customers modernize their infrastructure and achieve smarter, safer, and more efficient mobility outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a territory of mid-market accounts, serving as a trusted advisor to customers and partners
  • Drive adoption of Iteris' connected infrastructure solutions and traffic analytics cloud platform
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with city planners, traffic engineers, consultants, and industry contractors
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities while growing existing accounts
  • Collaborate closely with partners, solutions engineering, and customer success teams to deliver world-class outcomes
  • Maintain a disciplined approach to pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting in Salesforce

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Five to seven (5-7) years of experience in technology solution sales (hardware, software, or SaaS)
  • A passion for customer relationships and an ability to earn trust and influence decisions while navigating public sector procurement process
  • Strong understanding of solution selling and comfort navigating multi-stakeholder decision processes
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to build pipeline and drive territory growth
  • Familiarity with public sector budgets, procurement, and funding sources
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
