About the Role

Milwaukee Magazine is looking for a Social Media/Video Intern for Fall 2025! We're looking to create fun, engaging video content for our social media channels and website. This is a super creative position, and we're looking for an intern who can put themselves out there to create eye-catching content. You'll be exploring Milwaukee, taking video of concerts, restaurants and more for our Instagram and website. You'll be brainstorming video concepts, filming and editing.

Key Responsibilities

Create fun, engaging video content for social media channels and website, including Instagram reels and TikToks.
Explore Milwaukee to capture video footage of concerts, restaurants, and other local highlights.
Brainstorm video concepts, film, and edit videos.

Requirements

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and accept constructive criticism.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and problem solve is a plus.
Able to commit 15-20 hours per week during the internship period.

Nice to Have

Photography major (preferred but not required).

Qualifications

A commitment of 15-20 hours a week preferred.
Internships are unpaid but must be able to take the internship for college credit.
A photography major is preferred but not required.
Must submit a resume and a link to a portfolio to be considered.
