Social Media Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a targeted growth plan to reach 10,000+ quality followers in 45 days, focusing on entrepreneurs, entertainment executives, civic leaders, influencers, and retail investors.
• Create and curate high-impact visual and editorial content that establishes JW Roth as an authority in live entertainment and venue development, including photos, videos, and written posts.
• Develop content that communicates VENU's business model, market potential, and leadership vision, tailored to educate and build trust with potential stock buyers and retail investors.
• Collaborate with Kristen Hoskins and VENU's PR team to position JW Roth as a thought leader on topics such as leadership, innovation, public-private partnerships, and community impact.
• Maintain a consistent publishing cadence of 4-5 high-quality posts per week across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and Facebook, optimizing content for each platform.
• Actively manage interactions with followers, industry peers, and investors to foster a loyal community and support growth.
• Monitor conversations and engage proactively in meaningful dialogue to enhance engagement and public perception.
• Track and report on follower growth, engagement, reach, and audience demographics, adjusting strategy based on performance data.
• Ensure all messaging aligns with VENU Holding Corporation's values, business goals, and brand voice, maintaining authenticity and consistency.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in growing personal brands with measurable follower growth, increased engagement, and elevated visibility, especially for executives, entrepreneurs, or public-facing leaders.
• Deep understanding of personal brand strategy, organic social media growth, and platform-native content across LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), and more.
• Strong editorial and writing skills capable of translating corporate, leadership, and investor themes into authentic, high-engagement posts.
• Experience producing or overseeing premium-quality visuals, including short-form videos (Reels, TikToks), photography, Stories, and other rich media content.
• Fluent in social media analytics, trends, algorithms, and executive positioning best practices, with the ability to adjust strategies based on data and platform updates.
• Highly organized, self-starter, and deadline-driven, capable of managing content calendars, approvals, and multi-channel workflows.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with communications, PR, investor relations, and leadership teams to ensure brand alignment and consistency.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting a CEO, entrepreneur, or founder's personal brand at the intersection of business and media.
• Familiarity with the entertainment, hospitality, or real estate development industries.
• Graphic design, photography, or videography skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to perform the essential physical functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and use fingers and wrists for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours).
• Effective communication skills, including speaking and hearing.
