Mitigation Banking Project Development Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of mitigation banking projects from inception to completion.
• Conduct thorough feasibility/financial assessments and due diligence for potential projects.
• Draft and manage banking instruments and other necessary documentation.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Oversee restoration construction activities to ensure they meet project specifications and timelines.
• Develop detailed reports on project performance and progress for stakeholders.
• Work closely with various teams to ensure project goals are met and timelines are adhered to.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Ecology, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• High energy, drive, and focus, with a passion for achieving results within designated timelines.
• Strong project management experience with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the mitigation banking business with 5 being in bank development.
• Experience with Federal and State regulatory agencies and environmental regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication (written and oral), negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with wetland and stream mitigation banking.
• Experience with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Experience in ecosystem restoration design and implementation.
• Experience in GIS and mapping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Salary range of $97,400-$146,000 based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
