About the Role

The National Account Manager for Best Buy at Bose is responsible for delivering meaningful sales results for large and strategic accounts, specifically focusing on the Best Buy channel. This role involves planning, organizing, leading, and managing sales growth with Best Buy, identifying opportunities to enhance audio experiences at the leading electronics retailer, and collaborating with internal and external partners to meet business objectives. The position supports Bose's global sales team in connecting the brand with passionate consumers through strategic retail partnerships, with a preference for candidates located near Minneapolis, MN, given Best Buy's US headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an Annual Business Plan to attain organizational, team, and account goals and objectives.
  • Own and deliver key performance metrics such as sales, profit, account receivables, and return on investment for assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate daily with Bose Sales Team and Best Buy Cross Functional Team to effectively manage priorities of the Best Buy business.
  • Manage key relationships within Best Buy, focusing on growth of strategic relationships and delivering both short-term and long-term joint business plan objectives.
  • Coordinate internally with cross-functional resources to meet key performance metrics, address account needs, and ensure timely resolution and communication.
  • Deliver analytics, insights, and performance assessments internally and externally to evaluate business health.
  • Coordinate sales activities with marketing support for the Best Buy channel.
  • Align reseller strategies with Bose’s strategic priorities, improving supply chain, forecasting, marketing, and retail operations.
  • Partner with Best Buy and internal demand planning teams to develop and deliver high-confidence sales forecasts by analyzing sales data and implementing growth strategies.
  • Own and document competitive information at the account level to enable strategic insights.

Requirements

  • 10-12 years of account management sales experience with a proven track record of delivering results at high revenue, strategic accounts.
  • Experience managing accounts with Best Buy.
  • Ability to deliver defined sales results at strategic, high revenue/high visibility accounts.
  • Strong negotiation skills to influence and leverage plans in a mutually beneficial manner.
  • Analytical orientation with the ability to use data and analytics to develop and execute growth plans.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills both externally and internally.
  • Deep knowledge of Best Buy's business model and systems.
  • Strong financial acumen with P&L management experience.
  • Action-oriented mindset with the ability to act decisively.
  • Polished communication skills across written, presentation, and verbal formats.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and organizational levels.
  • BA degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with retail partners in a strategic account management capacity.
  • Familiarity with Bose products and brand positioning.
  • Advanced proficiency in sales forecasting and analytics tools.
