New Business Development Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the immersed compute industry.
• Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
• Build and maintain strong ecosystem relationships with key industry players, including partners, suppliers, and customers.
• Collaborate with the product development team to create innovative solutions that meet client needs in the immersed compute market.
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop compelling value propositions, product positioning, and marketing campaigns.
• Work with sales leaders and third-party distributors in strategic zones to deploy at commercial scale and train sales staff and distributors.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify threats and opportunities.
• Ensure value propositions and product positioning are relevant, compelling, and aligned with market needs.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows; serve on industry group committees.
• Prepare and present business proposals, reports, and presentations to stakeholders and leadership.
• Track and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate business development success and inform decisions.
• Perform special assignments or tasks as assigned by supervisors or leadership.

Requirements

• Proven experience in business development or sales roles within lubricants, compute, thermal management, or liquid cooling for compute (immersion or direct-to-chip cooling).
• Strong understanding of immersion cooling technology, industry participants, dynamics, trends, and competitive landscape.
• Proven sales track record.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to build rapport and act as a team player.
• Strategic minded and action-oriented.

Nice to Have

• Research and/or product development experience in liquid cooling for compute.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• A combination of work experience and education may be considered.
