About the Role

We ensure safety, quality and productivity for our customers across major industries around the world. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing a strategic territory plan for the sale of (CT-Computed Tomography and X-ray) systems to customers in key segments including Aerospace, Defense, Automotive & Electric Vehicles, Additive Manufacturing, Medical Devices and Electronics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Selling product(s) and services including system upgrades, service contracts and inspection services within assigned geographical area.
  • Developing a pipeline by having a clear understanding of sales processes and stages.
  • Forecasting of system and service sales to the region director including weekly deal and pipeline reviews.
  • Managing CRM (Deal Machine) to ensure accuracy of forecast to the business.
  • Traveling throughout the territory to manage installed base, develop new opportunities and manage customer relationships.
  • Working with Application Engineers to qualify the opportunity, develop deal strategies and become the technical solution of choice for the customer.
  • Driving deals to closure including quoting, negotiation and OTR (Order to Remittance) handoff.

Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Engineering or business degree preferred).
  • Have a minimum of 3 additional years of experience in sales.
  • Have up to 5 years of experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
  • Possess Capital Sales Experience with Deal Values greater than $750,000 USD.
  • Possess experience in key strategic segments: Aerospace, Electronics, Medical Devices, Automotive/Electric Vehicles.
  • Have experience with a CRM.
  • Be able to travel 50%-70% of the time.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage several sales opportunities simultaneously.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in strategic segments such as Aerospace, Electronics, Medical Devices, Automotive/Electric Vehicles.
  • Experience with CRM tools.
