About the Role

The Brand Business Manager is responsible for developing and implementing effective business and marketing plans to enhance the Oakley brand and drive growth in the market. This role acts as the local market leader in maximizing and executing the global brand's vision, tailoring communication plans across all channels within the North American market. The position involves close collaboration with key stakeholders and focuses on brand management, trade marketing, product management, and strategic planning to ensure the brand's success and market share expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and monitor annual brand targets, review monthly sales, identify gaps and opportunities, and develop plans to meet sales goals.
  • Support brand business updates to senior management on a monthly or quarterly basis.
  • Investigate brand and competitive trends, results, and identify commercial opportunities and strategies to grow sales and market share.
  • Partner with local sales teams to develop distribution strategies by channel of trade aligned with global brand strategies.
  • Advocate for local market needs by analyzing competition and sharing insights with global teams.
  • Develop and execute holistic sell-out initiatives to drive visibility, assortment, training, and merchandising programs.
  • Lead training for local sales teams on marketing initiatives and new product releases to improve sales performance.
  • Create and maintain the brand marketing calendar and budget, including trade marketing, media plans, training, and promotional activities.
  • Manage trade marketing strategy by channel and brand visibility in the market.
  • Monitor collection performance, advocate for NA product needs, and oversee product release screening and performance monitoring.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5-7 years of experience as a brand manager or similar role.
  • Ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing and trade strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills to investigate trends and identify opportunities.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of distribution strategies and product management.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with global brand teams and international markets.
  • Knowledge of the eyewear or fashion industry.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and trade marketing activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in brand management or similar roles.

Benefits & Perks

  • Competitive salary range: $105,281.60 - $159,390.00.
  • Potential bonus and/or commission plan.
