Oracle Python Lead Developer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop custom IT applications related to the supply chain area for the client.
• Utilize Oracle PL/SQL and Python to create and maintain applications.
• Perform performance tuning using hints, AWR reports, and other techniques.
• Work collaboratively within a team spread across the globe in an onsite-offshore model.
• Take proactive ownership of tasks and follow up with users or stakeholders.

Requirements

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin, TX or be willing to relocate to the area.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 3 years of experience developing Oracle PL/SQL and Python applications.
• Good knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, DB links, analytical and aggregate functions, hierarchical queries.
• Hands-on experience in performance tuning concepts using hints, AWR reports, etc.
• Hands-on knowledge of Python scripting, including pandas data frame.
• Good logical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
