About the Role

Callahan Weber Hydraulics, a SunSource company, designs and installs start-up hydraulic systems of any size to match customer requirements. The company’s fluid power specialists have extensive experience and provide solutions that offer economic or space-saving benefits. As an Outside Sales Account Manager, you will represent premier hydraulic component manufacturers and sell industry-leading business solutions, including design, installation, and repair of hydraulic components and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with your Manager to create a sales plan to develop new customers and maintain existing accounts
  • Conduct full cycle prospecting activities including qualification of leads, cold calls, and sales presentations
  • Collaborate with customer service and technical support teams to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Utilize tools, resources, and CRM to plan and manage time and territory

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-year technical degree or better, preferred in fluid power programs or similar discipline such as industrial technology or mechanical, or a combination of work experience, training, and education
  • Fluid Power Certification is preferred but not required
  • 2+ years of increasing sales experience, with at least 1 year in industrial sales
  • Previous sales experience selling hydraulic components and service/repair is preferred
  • Experience with rebuild and repair of hydraulic equipment for mobile and industrial machinery is a plus
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Ability to achieve and exceed sales goals
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Overnight travel may be required
