In this role, you will work within a defined geographic territory that targets clients and prospects with 1-49 employees. You will identify and sign new clients for payroll, tax, human resources, benefits, and more and sell additional solutions to existing clients. Daily, you will cultivate relationships, set appointments, gather leads from established business partners, assess client or prospect needs to present the best ADP solutions, and spend your time in the field closing business. Key Responsibilities

  • Grow Our Business While Growing Yours by working independently and collaboratively within your assigned geography to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals.
  • Implement a sales strategy targeted to decision-makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.
  • Deepen Relationships Across the ADP Family by strategically cultivating additional business within existing accounts.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and your network while demonstrating grace under pressure and high ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Positive Self-Starter with an upbeat, persistent style, able to cold call without fear of rejection, manage time well, and present ideas clearly in various formats.
  • Agile Solution Seeker who can find answers or solutions even in fast-paced change.
  • Continuous Learner who is always learning, growing, and questioning past methods to improve.
  • Having a college degree is great but not required; relevant experience such as one to two years in Retail, Marketing, Business Development, Food Service, Insurance Sales, or Military experience is acceptable.

Nice to Have

  • Prior quota-carrying experience.
  • Ability to successfully build a network and effectively use social media for sales.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in sales, business development, or related fields, or military experience.
  • Skills to do the job effectively, with a focus on problem-solving, persistence, and professionalism.
