Paid Search Media Strategist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and managing paid search campaigns to meet client goals.
• Maintaining budget pacing and providing performance analysis with actionable recommendations.
• Providing insights on campaign performance regularly and on-demand, aligning results with client KPIs across various channels.
• Continuously expanding personal knowledge of paid search platforms and earning relevant certifications.
• Digesting, retaining, and applying the latest industry news to client projects.
• Producing high-quality deliverables and analyses that demonstrate the 'how,' 'why,' and 'what' of campaign strategies.
• Understanding client goals holistically and determining suggested course of actions for campaigns given budgets and other factors.
• Working effectively with client services and internal media teams to establish strategic account direction.
• Reviewing monthly client performance reports and recapping key insights and next steps.
• Assisting the media team in communicating optimizations and deliverables to clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
• 3+ years of digital media strategy experience, preferably in an agency setting.
• Experience with high-touch platforms like Google Ads, Pinterest, TikTok, and others.
• Google-related certifications are required.
• Ability to manage and optimize up to $500k in media spend across multiple accounts.
• Strong knowledge of analytics and tracking tools such as GA4, GTM, and pixel management.
• Attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple clients, projects, and tasks.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• High self-motivation and proactive learning mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable with establishing structured processes and working with a sense of urgency.

Nice to Have

• Experience with programmatic media and analytics/tracking.
• Experience with industry tools to build efficiencies and identify new strategic opportunities.
• Ability to operate with a high level of self-sufficiency and adaptability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
• Three (3)+ years experience in agency digital media strategy and management
• Google certifications
