About the Role

The University of Southern Maine's Business Administration Department is seeking part-time faculty to teach in their new Master of Science in Digital Marketing Analytics degree program for the Spring 2026 semester, beginning January 20, 2026. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the course curriculum based on provided learning objectives, program competencies, and topical outline.
  • Teach the course content effectively to students, ensuring engagement and understanding.
  • Assess student performance through grading and feedback.
  • Meet with students as needed to support their learning.
  • Deliver the full course, including lectures, discussions, and assessments.

Requirements

  • Ph.D., MBA, or other relevant graduate degree.
  • Professional or teaching experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to develop and deliver course content effectively.
  • Experience or familiarity with digital marketing technologies and strategies is implied.
  • Strong communication and student engagement skills.

Nice to Have

  • Previous teaching evaluations or experience in higher education.
  • Experience with online or hybrid course delivery.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree (Ph.D., MBA, or equivalent).
