About the Role

Partner Solution Sales, Security at Microsoft in Irving, Texas, is a role within the Small Medium Enterprises and Channel (SME&C) team. The team is focused on leading a high-growth, AI-powered global sales organization that is deeply connected to partners and driven by customer success. The role involves working with Cloud Solution Providers (CSP) to grow the Security Cloud Solution Provider business for the Small, Medium Business segment, leveraging Microsoft’s partner ecosystem and sales methodology to drive revenue and customer impact. The position offers opportunities for career growth, developing business acumen, honing selling skills, and becoming proficient in deal structuring within a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Cloud Solution Area (CSA) pipeline with assigned partners and leverage investments to drive pipeline velocity in the SMB business.
  • Be accountable for CSA revenue forecasts across your partner portfolio.
  • Drive CSP revenue growth through a scalable portfolio of partners.
  • Coach partners on the value of Microsoft solution area plays and the corresponding sales levers to drive Reach, Frequency & Yield.
  • Responsible for Top Deals with pinned partners (above $ threshold) & updating information in MSX (Microsoft Seller Experience tool).
  • Utilize investments and incentives to accelerate deal progression and encourage deployment and consumption.
  • Support partners in advancing key deals, removing commercial blockers, and addressing competitive challenges.

Requirements

  • Experience in driving sales pipeline and revenue growth within a partner ecosystem.
  • Ability to coach and influence partners on sales strategies and value propositions.
  • Familiarity with sales tools such as MSX (Microsoft Seller Experience tool).
  • Strong understanding of cloud solutions and partner engagement strategies.
  • Ability to manage forecasts and drive deal progression at scale.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
