Key Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed territory sales and gross profit goals
  • Increase revenue by closing sales and identifying new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Make a minimum of 3+ hours of sales and cold calls daily
  • Refer customers to online ordering or customer service to maximize sales time
  • Develop account strategies and territory plans to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with marketing to create custom programs and materials
  • Support company-wide sales initiatives with feedback and market insights
  • Continuously improve sales skills through training and self-study

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in Inside Sales, focused on growing a territory
  • 1+ years of prospecting and cold calling experience
  • Experience managing and growing existing accounts
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with a passion for sales
  • Ability to influence decisions and build relationships over the phone
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
  • Candidate must be based in the metropolitan area of Richmond, VA
  • Must be authorized to work in the US; sponsorship is not available
  • Large percent of time performing computer-based work in an office environment

Nice to Have

  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Goldmine, ACT)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with cold calling, negotiation, and closing sales
  • Background in primary care, podiatry, orthopedics, or EMS

  • High school diploma or equivalent (implied by experience requirements)
