About the Role

Pearson Campus Ambassadors (PCAs) gain real world experience by collaborating with product and marketing teams, working on a virtual team, and developing professional communication skills. They partner with their local Pearson team on campus through digital presentations, sales calls, and technology registration tables. PCAs help shape Pearson products by providing valuable feedback through focus groups, surveys, and other projects. They create content for the global brand across major social media platforms to engage students on campus and beyond. This role offers opportunities to expand professional networks, develop skills like public speaking and problem-solving, and gain experience that can support future career applications.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with the local Pearson team on campus through digital presentations, sales calls, and technology registration tables.
Provide feedback on Pearson products via focus groups, surveys, and other projects.
Create content for Pearson's global brand across major social media platforms to engage students.
Work in-person with the Pearson team 1-2 times per month to deliver back-to-school help and participate in faculty presentations.
Complete an average of 5-7 virtual projects each month, including participating in focus groups, test-driving products, completing surveys, and creating social media content.
Attend 3-4 virtual calls per month.
Help create content for the Pearson brand and interact with Pearson social media accounts, sharing content on personal platforms.

Requirements

Currently an undergraduate student (freshman or sophomore) at East Carolina University with a 3.0 GPA or greater.
Open to all majors.
Able to commit to work for one academic school year.
Preferably at least one semester of experience using Pearson+, MyLab, Mastering, or REVEL technology.
Self-motivated, curious, and proactive with the ability to manage independent projects with limited supervision.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, energetic and outgoing relationship-building skills.

Nice to Have

Experience using Pearson+, MyLab, Mastering, or REVEL technology.

Qualifications

Current undergraduate student (freshman or sophomore) at East Carolina University.
GPA of 3.0 or greater.
Able to commit to the full academic year.
