About the Role

The Performance Marketing Analyst at Vertex Education plays a vital role in transforming marketing data into actionable insights that drive student enrollment. The role involves analyzing digital campaign performance across platforms like Google and Meta, ensuring marketing efforts are measured, optimized, and aligned with enrollment goals. The position supports the mission of changing lives through education by collaborating with campus and operations leaders to improve marketing effectiveness and student outreach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on campaign performance metrics such as CPL, conversion rate, and ROMI.
  • Maintain tracking best practices across all digital marketing campaigns.
  • Use Tableau and GA4 to create performance dashboards and data visualizations.
  • Translate campaign data into actionable insights for marketing and school leadership.
  • Support data-driven optimization of all campaigns for enrollment growth.
  • Conduct ongoing keyword research, testing, and recommendations to improve performance.
  • Monitor and adjust campaign budgets to maximize efficiency and impact.
  • Analyze SEO performance, including keyword rankings, site traffic, and engagement metrics.
  • Review and recommend web content optimizations to improve lead generation.
  • Track and report social media analytics in alignment with enrollment goals.
  • Identify technical or content gaps impacting digital visibility and recommend solutions.
  • Share campaign performance insights with internal teams and campus leaders.
  • Partner with operations and marketing staff to align digital campaigns with enrollment initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations to improve the customer journey through the marketing funnel.
  • Support coordination with external vendors and agencies when specialized support is needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Data Science, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing analytics or digital campaign performance reporting.
  • Experience with Google Ads, GA4, Meta Ads Manager, and Tableau.
  • Proven ability to develop actionable insights from digital marketing data.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Must pass a criminal history background check.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in education, enrollment marketing, or nonprofit marketing environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, or other data query/analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive performance improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing analytics or digital campaigns
