About the Role

As a Platforms Analytical Lead, you are a trusted advisor to large customers, agencies, and digital channel partners, using data-driven insights and knowledge of Google Marketing Platform to help clients achieve their business goals. You serve as the Google quantitative expert leading experimentation, measurement, and advanced analytics for Google Marketing Platform, and are a key partner to Google's ad sales teams, who work to bring the best of Google's advertising solutions to their customers. You will be involved in supporting the growth of Google Marketing Platform through data analysis, leveraging advanced analytical approaches, and developing data-driven recommendations to align with client business objectives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing market strategies within Google's Large Customer Sales teams, focusing on delivering measurable results and driving customer success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the growth of Google Marketing Platform through analysis of customer's data and platform utilization.
  • Leverage advanced analytical approaches and measurement methods to produce business-focused insights and help customers understand the value of Google tech and advertising investments.
  • Test via experimentation and learning agendas, share learnings across sectors, and implement best practices with cross-functional partners.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven recommendations that align with client business objectives.
  • Partner with Programmatic Sales, Google Marketing Platform ad tech Sales, Data Measurement and Analytics teams, Product Managers, and Sales Operations to develop scalable use cases and frameworks to prove the value of advanced usage and feature adoption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.
  • 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience in SQL.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with Google Cloud, especially BigQuery, or other public cloud data warehouses.
  • Experience performing marketing experiments, statistical analyses, and return on investment/financial modeling.
  • Experience with advanced experimental designs including a/b testing (e.g., maental hanztel, Wilcoxon, etc.), incrementality measurement (e.g., causal impact, diff-in-diff models) and sampling techniques (e.g. stratified).
  • Ability to analyze datasets, identify actionable insights, and communicate findings via presentations or reports.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Benefits & Perks

  • US base salary range of $118,000-$174,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
