About the Role

The Senior Analyst, eCommerce & Customer Marketing - Kroger is a vital internal sales position at Kraft Heinz that delivers business insights and volume-growing recommendations through category research to Customer Business Teams (CBT). The role involves using customer, consumer, and internal information to identify new and existing business opportunities, applying category management to business issues, and analyzing data related to sales controllables such as promotion, pricing, and assortment. This position supports the company's growth and performance improvement efforts within the sales organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the analysis of syndicated (IRI & Nielsen) and household panel data to steer insights and business recommendations on distribution, assortment, pricing, and promotion.
  • Coordinate information-training activities, drive data for sales planning, and continually work to improve sales category management value to the team.
  • Ensure that customer, consumer, and category insights are delivered successfully through effective collaboration with sales, business units, and finance through routines.
  • Conduct critical category rituals, including annual and periodic assessments.
  • Lead the analysis of data and information to create effective storytelling for internal and external stakeholders, supporting key category business building initiatives.
  • Analyze campaign performance or related data to find optimizations and share insights with internal stakeholders.
  • Assist Sr. Manager with brand meetings, briefings, and customer execution.
  • Generate recommendations related to team ROI and customer optimizations.

Requirements

  • Tested experience leading more than one annual cycle of analytics and data ownership for a sales position in a CPG organization, demonstrating strong analytics skills to develop comprehensive business plans.
  • Proven skills within a sales role owning business process and category management for a complex portfolio.
  • Ability to work autonomously, plan, organize, and set/achieve priorities across cross-functional and external stakeholders.
  • Polished interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
  • Experience working within a Customer Business Team framework.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with syndicated data sources such as IRI and Nielsen.
  • Experience in category management and business planning in a consumer-packaged goods (CPG) environment.
