Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer (Remote U.S.)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and document the requirements of the business and stakeholders on strategic projects to create solution maps or products tailored to client needs, including specific APIs and interfaces.
• Work with the Commercial teams on positioning the product portfolio, technical specifications, and Statements of Work (SOW) for proposals and agreements.
• Support the sales teams during the sales cycle to increase project conversion rates.
• Collaborate with professional services on integration efforts between Uniguest and end customers.
• Act as the system architect for UX/UI integration efforts with clients, including creating diagrams when needed.
• Respond to RFPs and RFIs as part of the bid team.
• Perform in-depth product demonstrations and communicate Uniguest’s values and differentiators to potential customers.
• Assist with small, ad-hoc UX/UI projects for live clients.
• Support training and certification of channel partners.
• Remain informed about the functional capabilities of Uniguest’s product portfolio and its technical architecture.
• Highlight how Uniguest leverages modern technology and industry trends to differentiate against competitors.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Consultant role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience working with web API integrations.
• Knowledge of or experience with one or more of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Visual design skills to create graphics and menus matching client expectations.
• Command of core concepts such as HTTP, authentication mechanisms, and formal data structures.
• Proven technology skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Positive, service-oriented approach.

Nice to Have

• Experience with UI/UX implementation in HTML/CSS or other technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of relevant experience in pre-sales or solutions consulting.
