The Presale Engineering Team applies our Public Safety ecosystem of technologies focused on Critical Communications, Video Security, and the Command Center from ideation to creation, challenge to resolution. We build and connect technologies to help protect people, property, and places. Our solutions enable collaboration between public safety agencies and enterprises that is critical for a proactive approach to safety and security.

Key Responsibilities

Partner closely with customers and the sales team to deliver customer-driven, end-to-end solutions for first responder, government, and non-first responder customers within the US Federal Government Civilian and Law Enforcement sectors.
Support the entire ecosystem by focusing on mission-critical technologies at various levels of complexity, including public safety grade mobile voice and data networks, advanced mobile devices, public safety broadband networks and devices, integrated command and control software, and mobile and fixed video solutions.
Discover customer requirements and develop technology strategies.
Design end-to-end system architecture.
Develop proposals and deliver internal and external technical presentations.
Conduct equipment and software solution demos, including configuration and testing.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Computer Engineering.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
Willingness to think creatively and challenge the status quo.
Attention to detail and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
General knowledge of wireless communications fundamentals and voice/data architectures (e.g., APCO P25, LTE, 802.11, 3GPP 4G/5G, FirstNet/Frontline).
Knowledge of Cloud (FedRAMP), IP networking architecture, protocols, and security is highly desirable.
Knowledge of RF coverage predictions, microwave design, traffic/capacity modeling, and related tools is an asset.
Ability to work in the Linthicum Heights, MD, office a minimum of 3 days a week.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.
Ability to obtain background clearance as required by government customer.

Nice to Have

General knowledge of Cloud (FedRAMP), IP networking architecture, protocols and security.
Knowledge of RF coverage predictions, microwave design, traffic/capacity modeling, and related toolsets.
