About the Role

The role of Presentation Specialist is part of the in-house marketing and communications team, focusing on creating high-quality, compliant presentations to support brand enhancement, client education, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produces presentation content that is clear, engaging, and compliant, for use in client, prospect, partner, and executive presentations, webinars, and events.
  • Ensures all presentation content aligns with brand messaging, tone of voice, editorial guidelines, and marketing objectives.
  • Partners with internal teams to understand presentation goals and content elements, editing existing and creating new high-quality, visually-oriented branded content.
  • Delivers final presentations to internal audiences, highlighting features and content concepts, and applies a consultative approach to content recommendations.
  • Designs and creates visual aids to enhance presentation decks, ensuring they are visually appealing and aligned with brand standards.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for managing SlideHub content and Sequoia's presentation management software.
  • Collaborates with marketing team members, advisors, and subject matter experts to translate complex financial topics into digestible presentation content.
  • Stays updated on market trends and research, sharing insights and technology to improve marketing deliverables.
  • Continuously improves presentation-creation skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual art, marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in an agency or in-house marketing team.
  • 3+ years creating presentations in a professional setting.
  • Strong expertise with PowerPoint and related tools (e.g., Excel).
  • Ability to create animations and interactive presentation elements.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong design skills and ability to create visually appealing presentations.

Nice to Have

  • Financial services industry or highly regulated industry experience.
  • Working knowledge of CRM and CMS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, WordPress, Asana).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual art, marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
