About the Role

The company’s highly experienced marketing consultants help clients improve marketing effectiveness and ROI by providing insights into what is possible beyond current practices. As a Principal at mPHASIZE, you will leverage analytical skills, creative problem solving, and interpersonal abilities to interpret data, build models, and influence marketing strategies, transforming marketing from a cost to a growth engine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Address business and marketing questions such as optimal marketing investment levels, profitable brands, products, seasons, and customer groups, and effective marketing tactics.
  • Develop expertise in data precision, market response modeling, behavioral insights, commercial application, operational management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Capture and analyze brand, market, and marketing data with care and clarity.
  • Apply econometric models, game theory, and machine learning to understand and forecast marketing returns.
  • Translate complex analyses into actionable insights that explain and predict brand, category, and competitive performance.
  • Refine marketing budgets, mixes, media buys, and audience priorities to align with business goals.
  • Deliver projects efficiently using technology, structured thinking, and disciplined workflows.
  • Partner with clients and business stakeholders to share findings, generate ideas, and align on future marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience related to marketing effectiveness, such as consulting, brand analysis, or market research.
  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical discipline; Master's degree preferred.
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint; proficient or familiar with R or Python.
  • Experience in, or strong interest in developing expertise in, econometrics, game theory, and time series-based predictive AI.
  • Strong analytical mindset with curiosity and a willingness to explore complex challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with clients and business partners.
  • Team-oriented, collaborates openly but can also drive projects independently.
  • Interest or knowledge in marketing science, brand strategy, or the advertising industry.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in developing expertise in econometrics, game theory, and time series-based predictive AI.
