Overall Purpose: Strategically analyze data from diverse sources using advanced predictive modeling, statistics, and trend analysis, thereby driving informed decision-making and optimizing business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret diverse data sets to solve a variety of business problems, predict behaviors, and identify causal relationships, trigger points, and predictions.
  • Apply a range of advanced statistical methods to quantify data variances and support decision-making, using tools such as Tableau, Palantir, PowerBI, Databricks, AWS Azure, Synapse, H2O Driverless AI, etc.
  • Develop business cases and create complex models utilizing big data analytics tools like Tableau, Power BI AI Insights, and Databricks for modeling and process integration, and make recommendations for process, financial, and business model improvements.
  • Build and test predictive models on various data samples and verify their accuracy in real-world scenarios, including Linear/Logistic Regression and Time Series.
  • Develop visualizations such as dashboards, reports, and charts, and advise business partners on data patterns and relationships to recommend strategic directions.
  • Lead critical, high-impact projects, design and implement innovative business strategies, and serve as a mentor to others.

Requirements

  • Master's degree (MS/MA) from an accredited university in a Quantitative field such as Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, or Physics.
  • 7+ years of related experience.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL) and data warehouse data storage (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks Delta Lake).
  • Proficiency with data analysis, statistical methods, and visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Palantir, and Databricks.
  • Ability to develop and test predictive models including linear and logistic regression, time series analysis.
  • Strong strategic insight and ability to work with minimal oversight, often consulting senior leadership.

Nice to Have

  • Certification in relevant areas.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant quantitative field
  • 7+ years of experience in advanced analytics or related roles
