Principal Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced analytics models and solutions to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their business needs and formulate analytical solutions.
• Lead the design and execution of experiments to test hypotheses and build predictive models.
• Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques to provide ongoing reports.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Develop and maintain databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and exert influence to change current ways of thinking.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field and 7 years of relevant experience.
• Or a Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field and 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in predictive and prescriptive modeling using Python, SQL, DAX, and M.
• Experience with machine learning algorithms such as neural networks, mixed-effect modeling, k-means, boosted trees, ensemble techniques, and large language models.
• Visualization skills using tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
• Experience with Spark platform.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques including multivariate regression, logistic regression, ARIMA, MAPE, and developing control charts (R charts, P charts, X Bar charts).
• Experience with linear and non-linear programming for optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields.
• 7 years (Bachelor's) or 5 years (Master's) of relevant experience.
