About the Role

The Content Development Manager, Patient Experience, at Boston Scientific is responsible for leading the planning and development of the division's patient experience digital content. The role involves driving successful content strategy and development to support patient experience objectives while providing exceptional digital experiences for customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with business goals and audience needs.
  • Conduct and analyze research and competitive analysis to inform content planning.
  • Oversee the content development process, from ideation to publication, ensuring high-quality, engaging content across all platforms (web, email, social, etc).
  • Collaborate with writers, designers, videographers, and other stakeholders to create compelling content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Establish and maintain an editorial calendar to ensure timely content delivery.
  • Proactively plan contingencies with project management, creative team members, and strategy partners during content creation.
  • Review and edit content for clarity, tone, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Identify content opportunities through industry trends and customer insights, continually seeking innovation in content creation and distribution.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Analyst to develop reporting that informs content strategy, including engagement metrics and behavioral trends.
  • Utilize SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and improve visibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in content strategy and development, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Experience in direct-to-consumer and consumer experience (CX) programs.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Experience with SEO and digital marketing strategies.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with quality policies and procedures.

  • Knowledge of digital content trends and innovative content creation techniques.
