About the Role

The Principal Product Marketing Manager, AI at Atlassian is responsible for supporting and representing AI within Atlassian's broader portfolio and brand strategy. The role involves developing messaging, go-to-market strategies, content, and market research to drive adoption and growth of AI products, particularly Rovo, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and engaging with customers and community influencers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine messaging that clearly communicates Rovo's value to Atlassian customers and prospective customers, ensuring consistency across channels and integration throughout the Atlassian portfolio.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies aimed at acquiring and engaging customers, including identifying key market opportunities and defining target segments.
  • Partner with demand generation and performance marketing teams to design, execute, and optimize multi-channel paid campaigns to increase product awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Drive content development supporting discovery and adoption of Rovo, including SEO content, product guides, use cases, and event talk tracks.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and inform marketing strategies and product development.
  • Collaborate with product management, sales, design, and engineering teams to align marketing efforts with product roadmaps and business goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and community influencers to create compelling customer stories and testimonials.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years in product marketing, with a strong focus on AI or technical products and audiences.
  • Strong understanding of AI tools and strong learning agility.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for technical audiences.
  • Proven track record of creating content that drives engagement and adoption.
  • Experience with competitive analysis and market research in knowledge management, AI, and/or project management space.
  • Cross-functional influence skills with the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Product.
