Principal Threat Intelligence Researcher

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver fused intelligence insights for priority internal stakeholders, tailoring content and coordinating responses to ensure consistent messaging and inclusion of unique insights from across the company, sometimes operating outside normal business hours for rapid turnaround requests.
• Provide tailored research and analysis for client-based RFIs to drive business and security outcomes, leveraging company data, ongoing research, and external sources, and recommend improvements to service support quality and speed.
• Develop structured intelligence insights tracking adversary trends, motivations, organizational priorities, and historical region and industry targeting patterns to support response efforts for cyber events, exploitation trends, and threat actor campaigns.
• Create engaging and informative content such as customer briefings, threat reports, and updates on major cyber events, sharing insights internally, with customers, and at security conferences.
• Collaborate with threat analysts, consultants, and engineers across teams to address complex threats and foster strong relationships.
• Integrate Generative AI, NotebookLM, and other AI/ML solutions across all phases of the intelligence lifecycle to improve workflows, reduce research toil, and accelerate report and presentation creation.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of cyber security threat actors, including their tactics, techniques, procedures, tooling, and notable attacks.
• Deep experience with cyber threat intelligence frameworks and analytical techniques.
• Ability to contextualize cyber events, identify patterns, and provide relevant perspectives to stakeholders.
• Experience triaging and modeling open source data, telemetry, and other intelligence sources, with a preference for experience with Synapse or hypergraphs.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate with cross-organizational threat analysts and facilitate collaboration.
• Experience with prompt engineering and leveraging Google's AI capabilities for intelligence product development.
• Strong writing and presentation skills to communicate threat intelligence effectively to diverse audiences, including C-suite executives.
• Experience working under short deadlines, managing multiple tasks, and thriving in complex or ambiguous situations.
• Comfort with adapting to change within a growing team.

• Experience with cyber threat intelligence frameworks and analytical techniques.
• Experience with Synapse or other hypergraph modeling tools.
• Experience operating under short fuse deadlines and managing concurrent tasks.
• Experience with AI and machine learning solutions in analytic workflows.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in cyber threat intelligence and cybersecurity.
• Proficiency with AI tools and frameworks, including Google's AI capabilities.
• Strong communication skills suitable for diverse audiences, including executive levels.
