Product Designer - Community Platform Experience

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize user experiences on community platforms like BetterMode, including social features, gamified progression, and community health dashboards.
• Lead UX for conversion-focused landing pages, lead generation flows, and A/B testing strategies to improve marketing website performance.
• Ensure design consistency across web properties and map seamless user journeys across platforms.
• Create intuitive flows for monetization features such as premium memberships, workshop discovery, and community-driven revenue models.
• Design intelligent search, recommendation systems, and adaptive content interfaces for content discovery.

Requirements

• 6-10+ years of product design experience with a focus on community platforms.
• Proven track record in startup environments.
• Portfolio showcasing engagement loop design, conversion optimization, and community retention strategies.
• Hands-on experience with platforms like BetterMode, Circle, or Discord.
• Strong grasp of behavioral psychology, social dynamics, and conversion science.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in fast-paced or startup environments.
• Knowledge of social dynamics and behavioral psychology beyond basic understanding.
