About the Role

Bloomberg Media is seeking an experienced Product Manager to shape the next generation of their consumer web experiences that engage millions of global business readers every month. The role involves setting strategy across content discovery, reading experience, and engagement growth, working closely with engineering, design, data science, and editorial partners to turn insight into impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the product vision and roadmap for core web experiences, balancing long-term strategic bets with quick wins that improve discovery, elevate the reading experience, and boost user retention.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through launch, coordinating with engineers, designers, data scientists, and editors to deliver features that drive engagement and subscription value.
  • Prioritize a portfolio of improvements by assessing user impact, effort, and alignment with company objectives.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators and conversion metrics, using data to inform decisions and demonstrate product impact.
  • Serve as a product evangelist and point of contact, clearly communicating vision, progress, and outcomes to leadership and diverse stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Explore emerging technologies that could improve discovery and reader engagement, and partner with engineering to prototype high-impact ideas.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5+ years of product-management experience with a successful track record in consumer-web or content-rich environments.
  • Broad knowledge of web technologies, content management, and modern front-end practices, with comfort discussing technical trade-offs.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with engineering, design, and data science teams to ship high-quality, user-centric products.
  • A data-informed approach to decision-making and experience defining success metrics, running experiments, and using analytics or user research.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to build consensus and clearly articulate product vision, status, and impact across the organization.
  • Strategic thinking with attention to detail and execution, able to see the big picture while diving deep to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies, from editorial workflow efficiencies to reader-facing experiences, and the ability to separate hype from practical value.

  • Salary range of $110,000 - $150,000 USD annually plus benefits and bonus.
