About the Role

Motorola Solutions is seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for key enterprise software products within our Theatro organization. Theatro is a Dallas-based technology organization within MSI, specializing in voice-controlled enterprise wearable solutions for retail, casinos, hospitality, and manufacturing. The role involves understanding user needs, market trends, and technological advancements to define and deliver innovative software workflow solutions that optimize frontline employee productivity and enhance customer experiences. Key Responsibilities

  • Define and articulate a clear and compelling innovative product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned software workflow solutions, aligned with overall company goals and market opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and user research to identify unmet needs, emerging trends, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Foster strong relationships with customer-facing teams and end-customers to understand critical use cases, pain points, and gather direct feedback to inform the product roadmap.
  • Translate user needs, market insights, and technical capabilities into detailed and well-documented product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize features and initiatives based on business value, technical feasibility, and user impact, maintaining a well-groomed product backlog.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams throughout the product lifecycle to ensure successful development, launch, and adoption.
  • Act as the product owner within agile development teams, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Define and track key product metrics, analyze performance data, and identify areas for optimization and improvement.
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, roadmap, and progress to internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Mentor and guide other product managers on enterprise workflows, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment within the product team.
  • Continuously stay informed about the latest workflow software technologies, industry trends, and best practices in product management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in product management, with a focus on software products such as SaaS, enterprise software, or voice platform products.
  • Proven track record of successfully defining, launching, and scaling software products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in conversational UX design or familiarity with voice user interface design software (e.g., Voiceflow, Dialogue Flow).
  • Familiarity with emerging Generative AI technologies, especially voice-based solutions.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams on technical concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams and levels.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and revenue models for software products.
  • Experience with user research methodologies and translating insights into product requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively and manage competing priorities.
  • Experience with software tools such as Visio, Figma, and AdobeXD.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in workflow solutions for frontline employees in retail, hospitality, manufacturing, etc.
  • Experience with voice technologies or software workflow solutions.
  • Experience leading and mentoring other product managers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, focusing on software products.
