Product Manager - GenAI

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Define and articulate a clear and compelling innovative product vision, strategy, and roadmap for GenAI software workflow solutions, aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in generative AI, machine learning, and deep learning technologies, and evaluate emerging trends to shape product direction.
• Foster strong relationships with customer-facing teams and end-customers to understand use cases, pain points, and validate the GenAI product roadmap and assumptions.
• Translate user needs, market insights, and technical capabilities into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize solutions and initiatives based on business value, feasibility, and user impact, maintaining a well-groomed solution backlog.
• Work closely with engineering and data science teams to translate generative AI capabilities into solutions, and partner with UX/UI designers to create intuitive interfaces.
• Act as the product owner within agile development teams, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery.
• Define and track key product metrics, analyze performance data, and identify areas for optimization and improvement.
• Communicate product vision, strategy, roadmap, and progress to internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership.
• Mentor and guide other product managers and customer-facing teams on the benefits and capabilities of GenAI solutions.
• Continuously stay informed about the latest GenAI technologies, industry trends, and best practices in product management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field with a focus on AI or machine learning products.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in product management, with a focus on software products such as SaaS, enterprise software, or voice platforms, and a strong understanding of generative AI technologies including deep learning models, NLP, and computer vision.
• Proven track record of successfully defining, launching, and scaling software products in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in conversational UX design or familiarity with voice user interface design software (e.g., Voiceflow, Dialogue Flow).
• Familiarity with emerging Generative AI technologies, especially voice-based solutions.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams on technical concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams and levels.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and revenue models for software products.
• Experience with user research methodologies and translating insights into product requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively and manage competing priorities.
• Experience with software tools such as Visio, Figma, and AdobeXD.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Familiarity with data pipelines, model deployment, and cloud infrastructure.
• Background in generative content tools (e.g., image/video generation, text generation).
• Strong technical background with a working knowledge of AI development.
• Experience in solutions for frontline employees in retail, hospitality, manufacturing, etc.
• Experience with voice technologies or software workflow solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field with a focus on AI or machine learning products.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in product management, with a focus and interest in software products and generative AI technologies.
