About the Role

The Product Manager will be responsible for high-speed over-the-board interconnect and cabled IO end-to-end channel solutions in the Converged Data Solutions Over The Board (OTB) product management team. Product Managers act as "mini" GMs, driving the overall product strategy, business leadership, and capacity plans to achieve revenue and gross margin targets that enable the product line's long-term competitiveness and success. This individual will develop and implement strategies to capitalize on new business opportunities, including identifying growth opportunities within key accounts and developing relationships with emerging customers and market segments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of the product, from driving new product development to manufacturing to marketing.
Develop and implement strategies to capitalize on new business opportunities.
Identify growth opportunities within key accounts and develop relationships with emerging customers and market segments.
Collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues in Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing to gain alignment and drive the successful execution of the product roadmaps.
Articulate market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking.
Develop product roadmaps that align with business strategy.
Define the resource requirements necessary to execute the product roadmap.
Plan product launches, including the development of marketing and sales plans.
Build a strong connection with the target customer teams.
Provide demand forecast inputs and drive needed capacity.
Manage the P&L (sales and gross or standard margin) for the assigned portfolio.
Track progress to the business plan and facilitate the resolution of gaps.

Requirements

5+ years of product management, sales, business development, or other relevant experience.
4-year technical degree required, mechanical or electrical engineering degree preferred.
Strong business acumen with an ability to understand technically complex concepts.
Creative and innovative thinker able to provide input on the development of product strategies and relevant business plans, with the ability to execute.
Proven ability to multitask and drive results in a dynamic, high-paced environment.
Vital interpersonal, planning, organization, and teamwork skills.
Ability to influence cross-functional teams both internally and externally.
Advanced presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts.

Nice to Have

High-speed interconnect product or industry experience preferred.
Relevant P&L management experience preferred.

Qualifications

4-year technical degree, mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
