Our Technology team has 6 different departments: Information Security, Service Delivery, Business Enabling Systems, eCommerce & Marketing Technology, Data and Stores, Services & Supply Chain. Whether it's online or in our stores, the work that the IT team does is instrumental in PetSmart's success. We have a strategic and actionable plan underway and are looking for associates who are just as excited about it as we are. This role is based at PetSmart's Phoenix Home Office, offering a collaborative and flexible work environment with a mix of in-office and remote work, designed to foster growth, teamwork, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the strategy, vision, and roadmap for the product lifecycle that serves pet parents in their eCommerce and omni-channel journeys.
Define the vision for products driven by data, insights, and research that align with PetSmart's strategic goals.
Develop, prioritize, and communicate a product roadmap that creates best-in-class customer experiences across channels.
Set and monitor KPIs for product success, validate hypotheses, and identify future enhancement opportunities.
Work closely with UX and A/B testing teams to define tests for initiatives and optimization opportunities.
Understand customer pain points and collaborate with UX and development teams to define solutions.
Manage relationships with stakeholders, gather requirements, discuss prioritization, and communicate updates.
Maintain a backlog of feature requests and coordinate with other product managers to manage dependencies.
Make decisions around prioritizing new features, reducing technical debt, and improving product resiliency.
Oversee the product through all lifecycle stages, ensuring proper maintenance, scalability, and enhancements.

Requirements

5+ years experience in Product Owner or Product Manager discipline, or equivalent.
Experience with MicroStrategy.
Proficiency with Google Analytics tools.
Proficiency with Microsoft software applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice to Have

Experience working in an omni-channel or eCommerce environment.
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
Experience collaborating with UX and development teams.

Qualifications

Formal experience or background in product management or ownership roles.
