Job Description

About the Role

Air is a Creative Ops System for creative teams. Our product automates the mindless tasks that creatives and marketers do every day to manage content and unlocks creativity through image recognition, automated versioning, and approval workflows. We launched in March 2021 and have raised +$70m from world-class venture capital groups including Avenir, Tiger Global, Headline Ventures, Lerer Hippeau, WndrCo, and Slack Ventures. This role requires in-office attendance at least 3 days/week in New York City. Air is looking for a Product Marketing Lead that can own the end-to-end narrative of how Air creates value for creative teams, turning our product differentiators into market-moving stories that accelerate growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sharpen Air's product positioning and messaging.
  • Create a clear, repeatable messaging framework that aligns with key storylines and ensures internal and external teams adopt a consistent narrative by the end of Q4.
  • Achieve measurable lift in pipeline velocity from sharper pain-point framing.
  • Build a messaging playbook highlighting Air's differentiators such as visual-first, conversational powered search, reviews, and approvals workflows, and reframing the status quo to make pain points more evident to prospects.
  • Develop tactics (campaigns, content, enablement) that dramatize the pain-to-solution arc, helping prospects recognize the hidden costs of “making do” and positioning Air as the inevitable solution.
  • Partner with Marketing, Content, and Revenue teams to translate messaging into campaigns, web copy, and sales enablement materials.
  • Optimize product marketing as a growth channel by maintaining a weekly cadence of product marketing-led content (social/blog/email) and measuring performance in the funnel.
  • Identify and test 2 new scalable PMM formats or franchises (short-form video, live product moments, customer co-marketing).
  • Build education and enablement content (blogs, case studies, whitepapers, explainer content) to drive meetings booked.
  • Partner with Sales/RevOps to create enablement toolkits (battlecards, ROI calculators, sales tools and collateral).
  • Develop product-centric activation, retention, and expansion plays.
  • Drive expansion conversations via marketing and lifecycle experiments, partnering with growth product to execute growth tests on key customer journey portions, and apply learnings to other marketing surfaces.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of marketing experience, with the majority in a product marketing capacity, in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (ideally SaaS or technology-driven industries).
  • Proven track record of leading major product launches, market entry strategies, or go-to-market pivots that drove significant business impact.
  • Cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to influence product roadmaps, enable sales teams, and coordinate complex go-to-market initiatives across multiple departments.
  • Entrepreneurial drive, with a preference for working in public, owning problems end-to-end, and moving quickly to ship ideas.
  • A competitive, winning mindset, with a focus on progress, building relationships, and honest communication.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in SaaS or technology-driven industries.
  • Experience with product launches and go-to-market strategies.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and product roadmaps.

Qualifications

  • Experience in product marketing, preferably 8-10+ years.
  • Proven success in product launches and market strategies.
  • Ability to influence and coordinate across multiple teams.

Benefits & Perks

  • Competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with dependent coverage.
  • Work-from-home stipend and professional development reimbursement.
  • Unlimited vacation days.
  • Opportunity to work in a rapidly scaling company with a mission to transform the creative ops space.
  • Competitive compensation range of USD $114,000 - $215,000 plus equity.
