About the Role

Klaviyo is seeking a strategic product marketing leader for its SMB segment. This high-impact role involves driving business results by working closely with cross-functional teams including sales, enablement, marketing, creative, and product. The position requires a strong collaborator who can articulate customer and market insights aligned with company goals and product strategy, supporting one of Klaviyo's core market segments and contributing to the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling messaging and positioning frameworks tailored to the needs of the Entrepreneur segment that differentiate Klaviyo from competitors.
  • Become an expert on the SMB segment, including understanding customer needs, pain points, key personas, buying committee makeup, and tracking market and competitive trends.
  • Translate positioning and messaging frameworks into thoughtful go-to-market plans, identifying growth levers, defining target audiences and value propositions, and developing sales plays and cross-channel marketing programs.
  • Equip sales and enablement teams with resources such as sales collateral, customer stories, discovery questions, and objection handling to support effective selling.
  • Partner with sales, operations, and marketing to analyze feedback and results, identify growth opportunities, and update enablement materials accordingly.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product marketing experience, including marketing B2B SaaS products, with a focus on serving customers and creating clear messaging and product positioning.
  • Experience working closely with large sales organizations and supporting complex sales cycles with multiple decision makers.
  • Data-driven strategic thinker who can turn quantitative insights into compelling messaging and operate with urgency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical details to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven success influencing peers and leaders across sales, marketing, product, and regional markets.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical, creative, and business experts at all organizational levels, including remote teams.
  • Self-starter capable of working in ambiguity, shaping problems, managing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Ownership mindset with a focus on business growth and continuous improvement.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with GTM strategy development and execution.
  • Familiarity with market segmentation and customer profiling.
  • Experience in ecommerce or related industries.
