Through leading edge R D and manufacturing, PENTAX Medical provides endoscopic imaging devices and solutions to the global medical community. The Product Marketing Manager position is responsible for regional marketing plans, collateral development, training, and supporting organizational needs, working closely with sales, distribution channels, customers, and other stakeholders to drive market share growth, profitability, and sales within their region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare for the launch of processors and scopes, including creating a launch strategy that ensures timely deployment, widespread adoption, and market education.
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research and visiting key opinion leaders, nurses, and administrators.
  • Identify and communicate new product and feature opportunities to the GPM group.
  • Provide financial and technical justification for product selection and definition.
  • Participate in new product development teams to evaluate future product opportunities.
  • Become an expert and clinical owner for products launched regionally, understanding the market and applications.
  • Develop a product introduction plan including advertising, promotional initiatives, and sales opportunities such as trade expositions and conferences.
  • Lead the annual planning process related to product lines, including communication, clinical plans, forecasting, risk assessment, and structural recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams from operations, sales, marketing communications, and global product management.
  • Lead local product launches through all phases, including inventory management, regulatory compliance, product evaluation, training, and sales support.
  • Develop sales strategies addressing competitive activities, product positioning, and pricing, translating product performance into customer benefits.
  • Track and evaluate product performance and sales post-launch using KPIs, monitor customer satisfaction, and communicate issues to global management.
  • Monitor financial performance to meet revenue objectives, review KPIs with commercial leaders, and provide guidance to improve performance.
  • Assess and respond to competitors' reactions to new product launches.
  • Partner with Service to enhance customer experience and improve service profitability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, life sciences, engineering, or related technical discipline; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, management, or as a product specialist; additional sales experience is a plus.
  • Experience in the medical device, life sciences, or biotech industry preferred, with gastroenterology, endoscopy, or pulmonology experience a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects and execute with urgency.
  • Strong blend of business, application, and technical skills with a big-picture vision.
  • Skilled at managing cross-functional teams in a multinational environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with qualitative and quantitative analysis abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Highly motivated, capable of working independently and in teams.
  • Highest levels of personal and professional integrity.
  • Proven ability to establish solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Domestic travel of up to 35%, with occasional international travel.
