The role As a Product Marketing Manager at SoFi, you will focus on driving growth, member delight and innovation across SoFi Checking & Savings, Invest, Insurance, Small Business and AtWork products. You'll conduct competitive and user research, drive channel, creative and UX strategy, and experiment frequently on landing pages and within the SoFi app. You'll own projects and marketing campaigns that drive a significant impact to SoFi's new member growth and bottom line. This is a highly cross-functional role, both within our Marketing team and the cross-functional teams of the product business unit. Attention to detail and an eye for quality are critical to your success, along with an ability to develop our product marketing in a way that resonates and clearly articulates how we solve our members' problems. You are analytical and user-centric, able to dig into drop-offs within a marketing funnel, hypothesize a consumer pain point, and validate it through experimentation. You have a desire to fail fast to learn, iterate and improve faster. You write insightful creative briefs that excite creative teams and get them excited to develop compelling campaigns that fuel growth. Your excellent organizational and project management skills enable you to collaborate cross-functionally, build processes, consistently monitor KPIs, and disseminate insights broadly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop referral channel capabilities across products, optimizing offers and messaging, forecasting and managing budgets, and driving growth.
  • Conduct competitive and UX research, own A/B testing strategy for high-traffic web pages, and improve web page performance.
  • Manage offers and sweepstakes by documenting requirements, overseeing fulfillment, writing terms and conditions, monitoring performance, and preparing operations teams for changes.
  • Create marketing messages and campaigns, including writing creative briefs, designing structured tests, analyzing results, and coordinating marketing disclosures and terms across channels.
  • Manage marketing claims, including ideation, substantiation, and approval processes.
  • Share performance metrics with marketing teams and partners through reporting.
  • Lead vendor onboarding processes across products.
  • Partner with Product Management to improve end-to-end conversion, creating seamless experiences and removing pain points in app and web channels.
  • Understand and report on market shifts, competitive threats, market size, and external factors to refine marketing messaging.

Requirements

  • A naturally curious individual who digs deep into insights and experiences to understand the consumer and their circumstances.
  • Ability to turn consumer insights into strong marketing and problem-solving strategies.
  • Excel at extracting insights from data to understand consumer behavior and connect it to business results.
  • Proven experience launching successful marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in product performance management.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communicator who can lead through influence and work across teams.
  • Excellent project management skills, especially in matrixed organizations.
  • Enjoys working on cross-functional teams with multiple stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing roles.
  • Ability to use data for measuring and reporting campaign effectiveness.
  • Experience writing creative briefs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in financial services is preferred; referral and/or web strategy experience is a plus.

  • Pay range: $89,600.00 - $168,000.00 annually.
