About the Role

The Product Marketing Manager - Camera Processors at Qualcomm Atheros, Inc. is responsible for driving the positioning, promotion, and adaptation of IoT camera processor solutions across multiple markets including retail, industrial handhelds, video collaboration, and camera. This role requires a combination of technical expertise in image signal processing, computer vision, and AI, along with strong marketing and communication skills to translate product capabilities into customer value. The position is office-based in San Diego, CA, and involves collaboration with various teams and external stakeholders to promote Qualcomm's camera processing technology.

Key Responsibilities

Support go-to-market planning, messaging, and positioning in collaboration with product management.
Define and communicate product messaging, positioning, and differentiation to internal and external stakeholders.
Partner with engineering and product management to translate technical features into customer benefits.
Create and deliver technical marketing content, including product briefs, solution guides, sales collateral, and competitive analysis.
Engage directly with customers, ecosystem partners, and sales teams to drive design wins and adoption.
Provide technical enablement and training for sales and FAEs.
Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to influence roadmap decisions and highlight market opportunities and trends.
Represent Qualcomm at tradeshows, webinars, and industry events to promote solutions and demonstrate leadership in camera processing technology.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.
OR Associate's degree or equivalent and 5+ years of relevant experience.
OR High school diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of relevant experience.
Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years of work experience.
Strong technical background with high level of technical proficiency.
Experience in technology and/or chipsets.
Experience publishing technical documentation.
Proven experience collaborating with global teams to bring new products to market.
Strong customer engagement skills, including negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and enthusiastic.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and share knowledge.
Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels.

Nice to Have

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 10+ years of product management, product marketing, or business development experience.
Master's degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Demonstrates executive presence, leadership, and organizational skills.

Qualifications
