About the Role

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to define and execute the strategic go-to-market (GTM) direction for our in-house corporate legal audiences. The role involves using strategic thinking, technology expertise, and product marketing skills to position our products, drive campaigns, and influence the product roadmap. The position is based in Oakland, CA, with a hybrid work schedule, and is part of a company committed to promoting justice through innovative legal technology. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop deep understanding of Everlaw's in-house corporate legal audiences and customers through research and engagement, building compelling buyer personas to shape marketing and sales messaging.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, solution architecture, customer success, and product teams to build and evangelize relevant messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies to drive awareness, pipeline, and revenue growth.
  • Create effective marketing collateral such as webinars, blogs, whitepapers, and sales enablement assets like pitch decks, cheat sheets, and demo scripts to support go-to-market efforts.
  • Act as a business partner to the product team to develop business value messaging of technical capabilities of the Everlaw platform focused on in-house corporate legal markets.
  • Develop and execute launch plans for new product features or initiatives, working closely with marketing, product, and sales teams.
  • Coordinate customer and competitive research, both qualitative and quantitative, to better understand users and the competitive landscape, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Drive awareness, consideration, and understanding of new capabilities through omni-channel campaigns, including organic and paid strategies.
  • Support marketing objectives by showcasing products at events, creating content, and engaging in influencer activations.
  • Participate actively in the marketing team's creative initiatives and think tank.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in product marketing, customer success, or related marketing roles, or at least 3 years of management consulting experience working with law firms or legal teams.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a proven track record in product marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills for internal and customer-facing messaging.
  • Strong ability to influence without direct authority and collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and sales teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to interpret data and qualitative research into actionable insights.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-starter attitude with willingness to build programs from scratch and get hands-on.

Nice to Have

  • A Professional Degree, MBA, and/or JD.
  • Experience in the legal sector.

Qualifications

  • Management, product marketing, sales, or related experience of at least 3-5 years.
  • Experience working with law firms or legal teams is a plus.
  • Authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship currently).
