About the Role

The Product Marketing Manager for Google Earth at Google is responsible for leading the product's marketing strategy, including positioning, competitive analysis, feature prioritization, and external communications. The role involves working with cross-functional teams across sales, communications, legal, product development, and engineering to shape and grow the product's user base. The position requires partnering on audience and market research, creating narratives, and launching strategies to increase adoption, engagement, and retention of Google Earth and Earth Engine. The role emphasizes understanding the user, connecting technology with user needs, and demonstrating how Google's products solve global problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute or manage campaigns, assets, communications, and programs to address user needs, team objectives, and key results (OKRs).
  • Evaluate and analyze campaign performance for optimization and recommend channels for reaching and engaging users.
  • Support, contribute to, or lead integrated channels to meet goals.
  • Become an expert on the geospatial audience, partnering with Communications, Product, UX Research, and Engineering to develop impactful messaging.
  • Craft and refine product narratives and channel strategies over time in support of launches and landings.
  • Develop and manage the creation of various content types and enablement materials such as written content, videos, and presentations to support growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) product marketing.
  • Proven ability to drive successful product launches and campaigns.
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience working with technical details and translating them into compelling marketing messages.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in growth, product, brand, social, or partner marketing or research.
  • Experience with marketing and sales operations, financial analytics, or related analytical experience.
  • Experience in consulting and working with behavioral marketing data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Benefits & Perks

  • Base salary range of $114,000-$163,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
