Product Marketing Manager-Land Pride CE

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in overall product strategy, research, and development requirements and coordination between Kubota and Land Pride for new and emerging products.
• Conduct product comparisons focusing on features, benefits, and competitive pricing, and help craft messaging for marketing materials.
• Provide training on new products to internal staff, sales teams, and dealers, including customer demos as needed.
• Support sales by providing resources, training, and tools such as sales materials, manuals, and competitive analysis.
• Attend Land Pride and Kubota dealer events, including Kubota Connect Dealer Meetings and Dealer Training.
• Attend shows and meetings as needed, with some product setup required.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and target audience, emphasizing Voice of Customer insights.
• Develop and execute go-to-market plans, including messaging, content creation, and digital assets like photos and videos.
• Analyze data to measure success of product launches and identify areas for improvement through post-launch reviews.
• Manage day-to-day progress of new product introductions, collaborating with engineering, marketing, purchasing, and finance teams.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, marketing, and operations to develop and provide product data aligned with customer needs and market opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a prioritized list of customer and market requirements for products.
• Provide input into marketing, sales, engineering, and financial plans for products.
• Produce competitive analysis comparing products with key competitors, including specifications and pricing.
• Monitor product lifecycle and recommend modifications or discontinuations based on market needs.
• Follow all safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment.

Requirements

• Product experience including knowledge of all Kubota Power Units, especially Tractors, SVLs/SSLs, and Mini Excavators.
• Knowledge of attachments and implements and their uses.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Above average computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Must be a self-starter with outstanding leadership qualities.
• Willingness to travel overnight and on weekends, approximately 25% of the time.

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university.
• One to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
