About the Role

The AI Responsibility team's mission is to position Google as a leader in AI and to demonstrate our deep commitment to its responsible development and positive impact. As a Product Marketing Manager on the AI Responsibility team, you will play a critical role in demonstrating how Google develops and deploys AI responsibly. This role involves establishing technical leadership and showcasing our innovation across spaces like Safety, Security, Privacy, Content Responsibility and AI Literacy. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to bring to life priority AI narratives via various content forms including demos, case studies, social marketing and campaigns. Your work will be at the center of important public conversations, helping to shape the future of responsible AI development and build trust with the world.

  • Develop and manage the creation of marketing toolkits-including demos, case studies, one-pagers, and social content-that empower global and regional teams to tell a consistent Responsible AI story.
  • Execute marketing campaigns and activations on key topics like AI Literacy, Content Provenance, or Privacy, managing project timelines and collaborating with internal and external creative partners.
  • Support our presence at major company and industry events by helping to develop content, collateral, and event strategies that showcase our leadership in building AI responsibly.
  • Serve as a key day-to-day contact for cross-functional partners in Product, Engineering, Policy, and PR, helping to drive project alignment and maintain a source of truth for our latest messaging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in marketing working across one or more marketing fields (e.g., growth, product marketing, brand marketing, social).
  • Experience with responsible AI topics including safety, content responsibility, societal impact, and AI literacy.
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in supporting and driving narrative development for a key opinion former/policymaker audience.
  • Experience working collaboratively across multiple engineering, product, communications, and marketing teams.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous and fast-changing environment with an entrepreneurial approach.
  • Ability to translate highly technical and complex concepts into simple, compelling, and human-centered stories for non-technical, high-level audiences.

Qualifications

Working at Google

Our approach to marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. We demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems—from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. We aim to change the game, redefine the medium, prioritize the user, and let the technology speak for itself.
