The Product Marketing team at Stripe generates customer insights that inform product strategy, leads go-to-market efforts for a suite of products, and creates marketing campaigns to drive product growth. This role involves partnering with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, design, communications, and product to develop and execute marketing strategies for SaaS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help accelerate Stripe's growth within the SaaS Platforms segment and lead global campaigns targeted at this segment.
  • Build narratives and messaging for the SaaS platforms audience, working with field marketing and demand generation teams to amplify solutions.
  • Deeply understand how to scope and execute marketing strategies to reach SaaS platforms and their decision makers, using qualitative and quantitative insights from user and prospect research.
  • Develop thought leadership to position Stripe as a leader in embedded payments and platform payments, demonstrating how enterprises can innovate using Stripe's solutions.
  • Advocate for existing and prospective users, becoming the go-to expert for the audience area.
  • Develop differentiated audience positioning and messaging informed by user research, market insights, and product understanding, and amplify through campaigns, events, partners, and the website.
  • Build content for sales and marketing teams, including decks, webinars, guides, workshops, and email nurture programs.
  • Collaborate with product managers, sales, design, PR, research, and engineering to develop go-to-market strategies and drive product launches.
  • Partner with campaign teams to track metrics and execute campaigns that increase awareness and adoption.
  • Think globally to adapt solutions to local market needs, competitors, and pricing.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in marketing, product marketing, product management, operational roles, or strategy consulting.
  • At least 5 years of marketing or go-to-market experience.
  • Experience working on marketing or growth throughout a product's lifecycle.
  • Experience working in B2B settings and with sales teams is preferred.
  • Experience in payments or financial services is preferred but not required.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS platforms such as ecommerce, cloud-based business management, hospitality, or CRM platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tell compelling stories and adapt messaging for different audiences.
  • Data-oriented mindset with the ability to work with insights and generate balanced viewpoints.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage complex, interdependent projects.
  • Passion for technology and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Ambitious and able to operate effectively at both strategic and detailed levels.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines and teams.

  • Knowledgeable about payments ecosystem, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Experience with go-to-market strategies in a global context.
  • Familiarity with Stripe's solutions and embedded financial services.
