About the Role

The Subscriptions and Customer Growth Marketing organization at Google helps users unlock the full value of Google by driving consumer apps and subscription growth. The team partners with product engineering and insights to understand the user and bring helpful products to market while deepening the consumer relationship. The role involves collaborating with product and marketing teams to identify opportunities and promote Google's programs, products, and services across owned and operated properties, focusing on the Google homepage. It aims to drive awareness, boost Google's brand perception, and foster sustainable, long-term growth through innovative homepage promotions and content curation that align with Google's brand and enhance user engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the goal for content curation across owned and operated channels, including Homepage Promo, aligning editorial choices with company Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), product value, and Google's brand.
  • Build partnerships with product, marketing, and brand teams to ensure content reflects product capabilities and resonates with target audiences.
  • Leverage analytics and user research to guide editorial choices, measure impact, and continuously refine content strategies.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in content curation, digital storytelling, and user experience to drive innovation.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Google HPP channel, and coordinate with vendors and agencies to ensure timely execution of planned campaigns.
  • Oversee HPP governance approvals process (e.g., HPP Committee, MMG approval, etc.) for campaigns.

Requirements

  • Experience working cross-functionally with various stakeholders and teams.
  • Experience in Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy and execution.
  • Experience in marketing or product operations, working across one or more marketing tools.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in marketing or product operations.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple teams, cross-functional partners, and agency partners.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with editorial, go-to-market or product strategy.
  • Experience with project management, including managing timelines, budgets, Statements of Work (SOWs), and communicating updates to Executive Leadership.
  • Knowledge of the Google brand and what Google-grade creative looks and feels like.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Benefits & Perks

  • US base salary range of $141,000-$207,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
