This role involves implementing product marketing strategies aligned with global product strategy, supporting sales, and driving sales efficiency through product knowledge and training, specifically in the Electrification Industry for MV Switch Gear components targeting OEMs, Distributors, and Panel Builders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the product marketing strategy targeting primarily OEMs, including defining and communicating switchgear product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy.
  • Achieve product marketing targets and budgets by overseeing progress regularly and defining and implementing improvement plans as needed.
  • Focus on achievement of orders and driving continuous improvement in the Net Promoter Score (NPS).
  • Execute annual marketing plan in collaboration with relevant division and/or product groups.
  • Develop business plans focused on driving business development for a defined market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering preferred, or Associate's degree and/or significant relevant experience in lieu of higher degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in MV electrical distribution and industry business.
  • MV switchgear and R&D/product management experience required.
  • Product specific knowledge of ADVANCE Switchgear or equivalent required.
  • Previous work with Solidworks, CATIA, Autocad and other R&D software tools.
  • Ability to travel an estimated 30-50%.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with R&D software tools such as Solidworks, CATIA, Autocad.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering preferred, or Associate's degree with relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in MV electrical distribution and industry business.
