About the Role

As a Product Marketing Specialist II, you will serve as the Product Marketing Lead for the Preclinical business unit. Your role involves developing and executing go-to-market strategies, crafting compelling messaging, and enabling sales efforts to drive pipeline growth and revenue within the Preclinical sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a 6-month rolling marketing roadmap for the Preclinical business unit, aligning with corporate goals and collaborating with BU leadership and SVP Marketing.
  • Translate customer problems and capabilities into clear value propositions, solution narratives, and competitive positioning for preclinical/CRO audiences.
  • Drive BU initiatives across various channels including landing pages, website updates, email nurtures, webinars, brochures, case studies, conference engagement, and ads.
  • Create, maintain, and promote materials to assist sales conversations, including battlecards, one-pagers, pitch decks, case studies, objection handling, and talk tracks.
  • Produce competitor briefs and market updates for the BU.
  • Conduct win-loss analysis at the BU level, recommend actions to optimize GTM and enablement, and potentially conduct customer interviews in partnership with the SVP.
  • Set goals in alignment with the SVP of marketing, track results, iterate on strategies, and communicate performance and learnings for the BU.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage timelines for BU-related deliverables and ensure quality and brand alignment.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience in B2B product/solutions marketing or a closely related role.
  • Experience in MedTech, drug development, and preclinical or clinical research services.
  • Demonstrated ownership of GTM plans and multi-channel campaigns from brief to launch to measurement.
  • Excellent written communication and editorial judgment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with comfort in setting goals and making data-driven recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics 4, HubSpot, and project management skills in an agile environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a Preclinical and/or Clinical Research (CRO) setting.
  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Digital Marketing, Clinical Research, Preclinical, Power BI, Looker Studio, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Smartsheet, and Asana.
  • Experience with Looker Studio or Power BI for reporting navigation.
  • Webinar program management experience.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud for asset reviews.
