Key Responsibilities

  • Guide the Agile Development Team to create and deliver solutions that meet client, business, and firm goals by breaking down and defining user stories and prioritizing the team backlog.
  • Create and maintain stories, prioritize work for new or revised features or enhancements, and ensure quality control by accepting stories as done.
  • Work closely with Product Management, customers, business owners, outside partners, and stakeholders to manage dependencies and ensure alignment.
  • Own the technical roadmap and adoption for an internal platform targeted to the developer community.
  • Facilitate story creation and refinement with the team, ensuring stories adhere to the Agile INVEST model and are technically feasible.
  • Collaborate with technical leadership and teams to analyze the Firm's needs and ensure technical requirements align with business goals.
  • Manage cloud-related duties, working with AWS and Azure to ensure seamless integration, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Oversee deployment and operations of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Communicate product vision and user stories clearly to teams to ensure understanding of target objectives.
  • Prioritize in-flight and backlog work, including technical debt, and set Sprint goals.
  • Monitor team progress and provide updates to leadership, product management, and stakeholders as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with the Firm's technical standards, industry standards, and best practices for cloud environments.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks related to cloud architecture.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in deploying, configuring, and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS and Azure.
  • Experience managing cloud services and solutions on AWS and Azure.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, management, negotiation, and people skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Experience with Kanban, the Scaled Agile Framework, Agile, or Scrum processes.
  • Ability to understand evolving technologies and relate them to current business demands.
  • Experience with cloud cost management and optimization on AWS and Azure.
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance requirements on AWS and Azure.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in technology, business analysis, project management, or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Nice to Have

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner or higher-level AWS/Azure certifications preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Business Administration or related field.
  • 5-7 years' experience in technology, business analysis, project management, or related study.
