Product Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Have a thorough understanding of products, their benefits, and installation processes
• Identify leads and manage prospects through sales calls and capture outcomes in a CRM system
• Identify architects, contractors, and installers to promote product usage and create demand
• Educate builders, contractors, architects and code officials on products and benefits of using them
• Attend and perform job site trainings on how to install products; will require hands on demonstrations with products
• Attend trade shows and dealer events bringing the show trailer to promote products to customers
• Have a full understanding of the products that you are selling and be able to communicate them effectively to customers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in years of experience
• Experience in building materials industry preferred but not required
• Sales experience preferred but not required
• A clear driving record and eligibility to drive company vehicle
• Willingness to use, and comfortability with, construction power tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
